Burlington Schools Rebrand

For my Senior Project, I wanted to take on a client project. The school district I graduated from, Burlington School District, had recently received a Nike contract and signed a contract for new turf baseball, softball, and football with Mammoth Sports. I decided to reach out about creating consistent branding for the school.

Goal: Establish a consistent brand with clear guidelines while creating templates to allow easier execution of the brand.

Target Audience: Parents, students, grandparents, athletes, coaches, administrators, community members, other schools, etc.

Problem Solving: The first challenge was the wildcat logo. I had been given a small, pixelated jpeg of the logo which I then took into Illustrator and image traced it. I then had to go in and reduce the points and remove small details of the logo to allow it to be able to scale better. Once finalizing colors with the district, I took those approved colors and created color variations of the wildcat logo determining which can be used for branded materials and which can not. These variations were then listed in the brand guide.
