Social Media Manager and Graphic Designer
Hi! My name is Taven Allen! I am currently working as a full-time Social Media Manager at Pin-Up Marketing and LOVE IT! Below are some of my other fun jobs!
I recently graduated from Pittsburg State University with a Bachelors of Science in Technology! I majored in Graphic Communications with an emphasis in Graphic Design and minored in Marketing. I workeed in the University Marketing and Communications office on campus as a Social Media and Content Assistant for a year and half helping run the university’s social media channels. This involved everything from creating content, scheduling content, and working with other organizations to plan takeover events. Check out my work on their Instagram and TikTok! Anything from August 2022 to December 2023 was li9kely posted by me! I was also the go-to person for the athletic teams when they need help developing social media graphics that will stay on brand. My athletics work won a Silver 2023 ADDY award!
I also used to work as a student designer at Printing and Design Services on campus. I got to design posters for clubs, wedding invites, baby shower invitations, business cards, and so much more almost every day. When I wasn’t designing, I was printing these orders. Every now and then I also got to do the finishing and binding of the products as well. I was constantly working with clients to get them the perfect product and that means working start to finish on nearly every order I designed.
I’ve designed this website to show who I am as a designer and social media manger. It showcases my work from the print shop, social media graphics, internships, non-profit work, and class projects. I love what I do and I’m excited to keep growing as I make my way into the industry!
